Workmen’s Compensation Insurance

Workmen’s Compensation Insurance
The workmen’s compensation Decree 1987 provides that employers must pay full compensation to all employees injured in the course of their employment (Occupational Accident). Benefits are significantly high and therefore a lot of financial outlay is required in the absence of insurance. Our workmen’s compensation policy covers your liabilities to pay such compensation to all employees.

The following represents the various headings of claims (according to section V, VI & VII of Decree) that could be made under the policy.
(a) Death: A sum equal to three and half years (42 months) earnings if the dependants are fully dependent.
(b) Permanent Total Disability: A sum equal to four and half years (54 months) earnings. This is completed by multiplying the average of disability awarded by a Doctor.
(c) Temporary Total Disability: Before this could be payable the injured employee must have been in the hospital more than 3 days in the hospital. Determined by multiplying the employee’s basic monthly salary by the numbers of days of inability and dividing by 28 days.
(d) Medical Expenses: The decree provided for unlimited medical expenses but reasonable.
